Who is HRDC and PLN?

HRDC is a non-profit organization which publishes PLN on a monthly basis, going on 25 years. Both are dedicated to criminal justice reform, using research, media and litigation to address issues such as civil liberties, healthcare, education and environmental justice for those locked behind bars.

HRDC/PLN recently relocated our office from Vermont to south Florida in order to work more closely with the communities here which are directly impacted by mass incarceration, immigrant detention, the private prison industry and corruption in the criminal justice system.

You can find out what we’ve been up to over the last year by checking out the 2013 HRDC Annual Report online.
