Role: Sr Java Developer
Location: Smithfield, RI, Merrimack, NH and NC
Duration Long term
Start: ASAP
Primary Responsibilities
• Design client side components, web pages, web services, service objects, and ability to integrate with enterprise and open source frameworks.
• Developing, enhancing and deploying software services in Java application servers
• Collaborating with stake holders across the IT organization as needed
• Provide implementation and operational support for customers
• Troubleshoot WebSphere and Tomcat applications servers in enterprise cloud and virtual environment
Skills and Knowledge
• Experience building domain, service objects and thin client components
• knowledge of pattern driven design and development
• Proven experience in of the following:
o Java/J2EE, domain services, web services, AJAX/JSON, JQUERY, Spring Frameworks (Presentation and middle-ware), ORB, Tiles/Display tags, JSP
o Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with a structured application development methodology. Agile and product development experience a plus
Education and Experience
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5 - 8 years of development experience in Java and related technologies
• 1 - 2 years of Java application server infrastructure support and management
