·         Long term contract month need for a mid-level Developer to start asap. We are seeking someone who can assist with an upgrade from existing applications in VB.Net to C#.Net.

·         Upgrade existing application, maintain current system and create new applications

·         Providing support for administrative team, bench technology team, and pathology faculty team using the CM site system.

·         Troubleshooting the CM site system

·         Modifying the CM site system to optimize speed, reduce errors, reporting functions, and monitoring capability

·         Communicate between the IS team and administrative, laboratory, and faculty personnel regarding the CM site system

·         Apply understanding of the CM site system to advise the IS team, as needed, with the design or configuration of a new LIMS system.

·         EPIC or healthcare environment experience a plus

Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software. Supports existing business systems applications. Strong knowledge of one or more development language(s) and tool(s). Must be able to determine and document moderately complex software or system functional specifications.
Coordinate with implementation partners, other IT managers, analysts and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback. Uses their attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective to solve problems. Has the ability to evaluate and review design frameworks and methodologies from SDLC best practices in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the architecture. Creative, innovative and be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to abstract detail into larger patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques. Interacts with technical and functional staff at all levels.

- Develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems focused on creating solutions within service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills with a strong understanding of principles behind service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Expert knowledge in several following technologies:
- J2EE: JSP, JSF, Web service (Axis / Axis2), JDBC, EJB, Application servers (JBoss, Websphere)
- Servlets, Apache Struts, Stripes, Dojo, Apache Wicket.
- XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript
- Spring, Hibernate, SQL, relational databases (Oracle, DB2 and HSQL preferred)
- Maven, Ant, Eclipse, JUnit, Jetty, Apache Tomcat
- Strong background in developing applications with graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
- Experience in taking the projects from the requirements phase to the delivery phase using the full software development life cycle.
