We are looking for a Automation Tester for one of our client at TX

Title                 : Automation Tester

Duration          : 7+ Months to Long Term contract

Location          : Austin, TX

Interview        : Telephone and / OR Interview

Rate: $52/Hr on C2C

 

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands on Quality Assurance and Quality Control testing experience
• Strong automated testing experience using QTP/VB script, descriptive programming (scripts from scratch).
• Strong admin skills and experience using all the QC modules
• Strong knowledge of database table structure and queries. Able to create complex joined/nested SQL queries "from scratch" and correctly evaluate their outcomes.
• Must be able to write their own functions / re-usable actions that will be used across all application suites.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
• Strong IT Technical writing skills
• Working experience in the Systems development lifecycle, such as Waterfall and Agile environment
• Experience and knowledge of build deployments and software configuration Management
• Strong grasp of functional and integration software testing techniques.
• Fluent proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communications skills
• Active team player
• Demonstrated experience in performing above stated responsibilities

 

Required technologies:

• Skill in the use of Quality Center 11.0;
• Quick Test Professional 11, 10, 9.5, 9.2;
• Scripting Languages
• SQL; Oracle DB2
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM)
• Experience with Section 508
• Web logic;

• Load Runner,
• Test Director;
• Defect Management Tools,
• Crystal Reports 9.0,
• Oracle Reports,
• VB Data Reports
