JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Looking for a mid-level Linux Admin (5-7 years exp)

Focus is supporting onsite RedHat Linux servers (need onsite production environment experience NOT virtual Linux server using VMware for remote servers).

Must have prior experience installing and configuring Linux servers using Kickstart methodology.

Must have prior experience installing operating system patches and upgrades.

• Experience managing LINUX/UNIX( RHEL ,HPUX, Solaris multi Unix flavor environment) systems from the ground up, including user and group management, LVM, SAN storage. Experience in package management using RedHat RPM.

 

• Strong Skills towards RHEL (main core and resource need). HPUX/Solaris knowledge nice but not required.
• Apache configuration and optimization experience, including reverse proxy, ACL,AUP,modules, ssl options
• Other application experience includes Dashboards, AXM/cleartrust, SPLUNK, Nagios, Puppet (recently installed to deploy everything), Legato/NetWorker , Mobile Iron
• Puppet knowledge is highly recommended.
• Creating Dashboards (must have Perl and Shell scripting exp) is highly recommended.
