Job Description: 
JEEApplicationDeveloper(s)to provideanalysis,design,development,implementation and maintenanceof Java (JEE)applications. One(1)ormoreintermediate-to-advanced JEEapplication developerswill beselectedtoaugmenttheexisting Java (JEE)developmentgroup. Specificdutiesare outlined belowin thetasklist.
Meetswith users toanalyzeand evaluatesystemrequirements;createsfunctional and technical specifications,including E/Rdiagrams;performsdatabasedesign,producing physical schemadiagrams;programstheapplication; participatesin in-houseand usertesting and training;convertsdatafromexisting databaseswhenapplicableand documents,implements and maintainsapplications.
Coordinateswith and providesconsulting services tostaffregardinginformation systemsdevelopment. Providespolicy,proceduresand application specificinformation to otherdeveloperswhen requested. Consultswith administrators toproposesolutionsto informationsystemsproblems.
3+years'experiencein Java Frameworkssuch asStruts/Tiles,Struts2,Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate
3+years'experiencein XML,HTMLand CSS
Experienceusing Subversion and Maven 2and/or3
Knowledgeof relationaland object-oriented database designs
Knowledgeofobject-oriented designmethodologies
Knowledgeof InformationSystemsDevelopmentMethodology(ISDM)
Knowledgeof databasesecurity,including role-basedsecurity
Knowledgeand experiencewith UnifiedModeling Language(UML)
Abilitytobecreative,tousesound judgment,and todisplayforesighttoidentify potential problemsand design/specificationsand assigned application softwaresystems
Abilitytoestablish andmaintain effectiveworking relationships with others.
Abilitytoworkindependently
Abilitytodeterminework prioritiesand ensureproper completionofworkassignments
Abilitytocommunicateeffectively,both verballyand in writing
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the English language.
