Job Title: Android Software Developer

Location: Bloomington, IL, US

 

 

Qualifications:

Client  is looking for a strong object-oriented developer to assist with development and support of Android Applications.  These native applications are written in Java and leverage the Android SDK and other Java frameworks. This REST based web service is designed to be consumed by the Mobile User Interfaces and is deployed to our JRA 2.0 B2C environment.  Candidates must be able to work collaboratively, adapt quickly to change, and be part of a 24/7/365 support team.

Key skills required for this position.
*       Object Oriented Programming
*       Java Programming Language
*       Experience in Android Programming

*       Understanding of RESTful web services, JSON/XML data structures is a plus

Additional Skills:
_Demonstrate world-class programming skills
_Passion for infrastructure development and its implications to User Interfaces
_Demonstrate commitment to code quality
_Willingness to pair program to learn from their talented, experienced colleagues
_Experience with Open Source products (Jackson, Jersey, Spring)
_Experience with LTS Next (Maven, Trac, SVN, Jenkins)
_Ability to speak and write about their work and accomplishments
_Willing to explore and learn new mobile platforms, frameworks, concepts, etc
