Project Overview

The purpose of this project is to convert all identified reports to the SSRS platform and to decommission the BOE environment. The reports use Microsoft SQL Server sources. The sources, targets and final report definitions will not change, just the report writing tool. While the report complexity does vary from simple to moderately complex, there are no severely complex reports, and the average report is fairly straight-forward.

 

The selected candidate will need to work with our IT liaison and departmental owners for data validation.

 

All work is required to occur on site.

 

Goals:

Are the following:

1.    Convert 74 WEBI Reports

2.    Convert 48 Crystal Reports

3.    Convert 6 Oracle Browser Reports

4.    Convert 1 Word Document to a Report

 

Design and Analysis

1.      Review the Reports for completeness

2.    Review the source and target for connectivity

3.    Review the functionality requested within the SSRS environment

 

DEVELOPMENT

1.    Convert all requested reports

2.    Confirm accuracy and completeness with original

Promote to production SharePoint site
