Job Description
Responsibilities include:
· Plan and execute SharePoint solutions to address Transmission & Substation Project Management business requirements.
· Configure and maintain libraries, lists, and sites at the organizational level.
· Perform typical administrative activities such as content maintenance and user issue resolution.
· Be familiar with the integration of SharePoint and other business systems, to include PPL-specific systems and Microsoft Office.
· Participate in the gathering and documenting of requirements from non-technical business users.
· Determine when and how to use standard and custom solutions within the SharePoint environment.
· Define the deployment process for new solutions, and integration of new solutions into current procedures, and communicate new solutions to the organization.
· Establish best practices and governance around SharePoint solutions and content, and will recommend opportunities to leverage SharePoint capabilities as appropriate.
· Apply knowledge of SharePoint best practices to attain efficiency in project management operations.
· Mentor and train PPL employees and contracted staff on the use of SharePoint solutions.
Requirements include:
· Experience developing solutions using all aspects of SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Nintex Workflow 2010 without the use of SharePoint Designer.
· Experience developing in HTML, .Net, and C#
· Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to understand and document customer needs.
· Critical thinking, problem solving, design, and attention to performance, usability, and scalability of solutions.
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability handle diverse situations and multiple projects.
· Must be able to deliver as a development lead for business application development projects.
Application Experience:
· SharePoint Foundation 2010
· Nintex Workflow 2010
· Microsoft Office 2010 Suite to include integration with SharePoint
· Microsoft InfoPath Designer 2010 to include integration with SharePoint
· Experience with SharePoint Foundation 2013 a plus
Ideal Qualifications:
· Previous IT Project Management Experience is a PLUS
· Extensive SharePoint Experience
· Nintex Experience is a PLUS
