Job description 


Incident Lead - .Net and Production Support experience

Microsoft .NET Developer with 6 to 9 years experience working as part of a team developing & 

supporting .NET applications with the following responsibilities and skills. 

• At least 6-9 years of solid Microsoft ASP.NET with SQL Server development & support 

experience

• Application Maintenance & Support, Exposure on Production support, adherence to SLAs, Day 

time and night time on call support (fix on failure), Project development using SDLC cycle. 

• Work on various priority level tickets/incidents as part of Application Maintenance. 

• Coordination with Offshore on various priority level tickets/incidents as part of Application 

Maintenance

• Experience in Problem management. Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the Problem 

Management process, Ensure knowledge base for the production issues are up to date, 

Monitoring the effectiveness of Problem Management and making recommendations for 

improvement. Monitor, Investigate, diagnose, Resolve problem within defined SLAs, Involve in 

Major Incidents, Perform escalation if needed, Perform the root cause analysis and Produce 

management reports

• Analyze current tickets in the system and identify problems based on discussion with different 

support teams. Defining the prioritization matrix for problem classification and performing 

problem prioritization. Co-ordination with other teams on how the problem should be analyzed, 

triaged, action plan for resolution and follow-ups. Ensuring RCA report is prepared and 

communicated. Communicating workarounds and known error and Update Known error 

database as part of knowledge base. Generating reports for problem management.

• Ability to work independently, able to understand requirement. Ability to plan and prioritize work

• Effective oral and written communication skills

*Project Description (Mandatory)

The .NET developer, who can maintain and support the Microsoft .NET based application for property 

and home-lender placed insurance. Developer should be able to do Problem Management.

*Work experience & skills (Mandatory) 

Essential Skills

(including minimum years of 

experience required for each skill)

Microsoft .Net Framework 1.0 to 4.5, 

C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, JavaScript / 

jQuery, SQL Server 2008

Excellent Communication, Good in 

analytical / leadership, onsite-offshore 

model experience.

Desirable Skills

Silver Light, TFS 2012, Visual Age 

Smalltalk, Dynatrace, Octopus

Ability to plan, monitor and organize work 

for self and team
