Role : BI (Business Intelligence) Architect.

Location : Santa Clara, CA

Duration : 12 Months

 

Brief JD :

 

Responsibilities:

·         Analyze business and technical requirements, as well as existing data models and reports, to understand the detailed data management requirements.

·         Create conceptual, logical and physical data and metadata models.

·         Design, build, and test components for data access, profiling, movement (extract, transform, and load), integration, quality, and processing.

·         Design, build, and test components for dashboards, data mining, analytics, semantic, multi-dimensional/tabular models.

·         Educate developers and users on data warehouse and BI applications and capabilities.

·         Package and assist in configuration management, deployment, and release management of BI components.

·         Advice and provide oversight for database usage, interfaces, performance tuning, and other operational issues.

 

Skills

·         Sr. Consultant who has hands on skill in SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and other MS visualization tools (like performance point services, etc…).

·         Excellent communication skills

·         10+ years' experience designing and implementing data marts (including multi-dimensional cubes)

·         Strong knowledge of MS SharePoint and other visualization platforms/tools (Tableau, QlikView).

 

Project:

1.       Will be working on building several DataMarts that will be providing analytics for headcount, Financial and Sales data

2.       Collect and understand information from various source systems (jobvite, Workday, Host Analytics, Intacct, SFDC, Excel) as well as manually maintained data to build out the right multi-dimensional data design for Headcount data

 

Environment

SQL Server 2008 R2, (Standard Edition)

SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and data dumping database

 

Production: SQL Server 2008 R2, (Enterprise Edition)

SSIS, SSAS and data warehouse database.

 

Visualization tools: Microsoft Power BI (PowerPivot, PowerView, PowerMap,….) to be published through Excel, Sharepoint or Power BI.
