Job Description:
Define and execute test cases against a major software release for web based HRIS application. Tester will focus 50% on manual test execution and 50% on automation test case development using QTP (creating
components and BPTs).
Sr. level tester preferred
5+ years experience manual testing on web based applications and 3+ years experience automation using QTP – BPT process which includes Component and BPT development.
2+ years experience with VB Scripting and/or other scripting languages.
2+ years experience Quality Center/ALM.
3+ years experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Solid to strong experience writing SQL queries is a plus.
Knowledge of Recruiting, Performance Management, and/or Benefits Administration a plus.
Must have strong communication skills.
Utilize requirements, design documents and test plans to execute manual test cases. Exploratory and ad hoc testing are required.
Work within Scrum team to identify automation strategy and execution plan.
Script Components and write BPT's for identified test cases.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Work under general supervision with direction provided by a manager or lead.
Escalate blocking issues to Project Lead or Management.
Report status and track time.
Participate in project meetings.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
