Job Details:
The candidate will be responsible for test and validation of various Technicolor cable broadband network access and home networking products (e.g. cable modems, residential gateways, wireless routers, VOIP devices, etc.)
· The candidate will perform 100% testing functions
· Run test cases in the customer's lab and accurately document the results. Operate independently as much as possible.
· Review product functional specifications and create requirements traceability matrixes to facilitate full test coverage of all features
· Perform functional testing with both technical peers and functional end users to ensure the successful launch of product development projects
· Experience with network protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, IGMP, SIP, SOAP, IMS, VoIP, TR-069
· Experience with a digital cable head-end (i.e. CMTS, etc.) infrastructure and DOCSIS experience
· Experience testing broadband access network gateways in a customer's lab environment
· Experience with Cable system technologies a plus
· Experience with HP Quality Center a plus
· Experience with SIPp, Hammer Load Blaster, and iperf tools a plus
