Job Description
Client is currently migrating their ALM toolset from IBM Rational (Legacy & Jazz) to JIRA/Atlassian. In an effort to support the IBM Rational Platform through end of life, FSSA is seeking an intermediate to advanced level Configuration Management resource that will work closely with multiple projects and teams managing their IBM Rational applications. This position requires a good understanding of and hands-on experience with the IBM Rational Suite of Tools (Jazz), including (but not limited to) installation, configuration, customization, maintenance and support as well as some knowledge of the Atlassian toolset.
The successful candidate will support development teams in their everyday activities to ensure consistent and successful day to day activities of the Rational and Atlassian Tools across the entire enterprise. The ALM Tool Configuration Analyst will perform level 3 troubleshooting and configuration development, as well as assist with migration efforts of the Rational and Atlassian Tools.
The primary duties/focus of this postion will be centered around Rational Jazz.
Required Skills
· Basic programming experience
· Excellent writing, communication, organization/time management skills and fluent English;
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems
· Ability to guide and coordinate the work assigned by others
· Thorough knowledge of computer hardware/software capabilities and configurations including knowledge of database software, ALM Software and Source Control Management tools
· Experience with installing, configuring and administering IBM Rational Jazz Tools specifically:
· Rational Team Concert (including source control & build management)
· Rational Quality Manager
· Rational Requirements Composer
· Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence (RRDI)
· Jazz Team Server
