Location:Brooklyn, NY.

Job Description:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading and managing development teams with solid Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server;
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development building large-scale enterprise web applications.
Must have experience with Subversion or CVS.
Strong Experience in MVC and using other design patterns.
Extensive experience with Spring and Hibernate.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic 10.x+ or similar application server .
Experience working with Oracle Web Center Suite or a similar Portal.
Strong knowledge of search technologies such as Solr and/or Elastic Search.
Solid experience in XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD).
Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices.
Ability to plan technical architecture and develop documentation.
Experience with testing tools and techniques such as JUnit and continuous integration.
Agile/Scrum Methodologies, Human Center Design.
Experience in Apache Ant ( a software tool for automating software build processes).
Conducting Unit Testing, supporting Quality Assurance, and coordination of defect remediation;
Ensuring that tech team deadlines are met and target dates are rebaselined as necessary;
Documenting technical risks and issues, , and actively working to avoid/mitigate/resolve extent risks;
Application source code
Automated Unit test suite demonstrating that delivered source code meets functional and non-functional requirements, where applicable.
Assist in creating documentation such as but not limited to: Technical Design, Run-Book, Security Accreditation, and Application Setup Instructions.
