Title: Validation Engineer/ NetworkTest Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 8-9 months

 

Job Details:

The candidate will be responsible for test and validation of various Technicolor cable broadband network access and home networking products (e.g. cable modems, residential gateways, wireless routers, VOIP devices, etc.)

Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline (Masters preferred).

 

3-5 years minimum experience as a systems and/or test engineer

 

Experience with network protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, IGMP, SIP, SOAP, IMS, VoIP, TR-069

 

Experience with a digital cable head-end (i.e. CMTS, etc.) infrastructure and DOCSIS experience

 

Experience testing broadband access network gateways in a customer's lab environment

 

Self-starter, detail oriented, and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment

 

Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.

 

Experience with Cable system technologies a plus

 

Experience with HP Quality Center a plus

 

 

·         The candidate will perform 100%  testing functions

·         Run test cases in the customer's lab and accurately document the results. Operate independently as much as possible.

·         Review product functional specifications and create requirements traceability matrixes to facilitate full test coverage of all features

·         Perform functional testing with both technical peers and functional end users to ensure the successful launch of product development projects

·         Experience with network protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, IGMP, SIP, SOAP, IMS, VoIP, TR-069

Title: Project Manager

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration: 6 months to 1 year

 

Experience required: 8+ years

 

Mandatory Skills: Project Management, BI & Hadoop

 

As a BI solutions architect, lead an effort to both manage and implement a new Hadoop BI environment. Our current BI solutions consist of a Netezza Data Warehouse with OBIEE, Cognos and Crystal Reports providing reporting solutions, and an open source data science practice providing analytical functions. This role will work closely with our business partners, BI technical leads and BI support staff ensuring our roadmap and project meets all responsibilities across the BI team.

Project Specific Responsibilities or Qualifications:

 

Responsibilities:

·         Understand current BI capability set including reporting, storage, processing, data management, integration & analytics

·         Work with business partners to categorize existing usage of BI tools

·         Understand and implement the new Hadoop environment infrastructure and toolset

·         Provide technical requirements and detail guidance for implementation of the chosen Hadoop BI solution

·         Work with Program Management to provide timely updates, status and issues

 

Qualifications:

·         5+ years' experience with Systems architecture background, with emphasis on Business Intelligence solutions - preferably

·         with a minimum 2 years in a retail environment

·         Experience with retail industry, with focus on analytics, architecture and/or BI

·         Strong understanding of data management principles

·         Ability to identify usage scenarios and patterns for BI solutions

·         Experience with BI reporting solutions such as Cognos, OBIEE, Microstrategy, Business Objects, etc

·         Experience with Dataware housing solutions such as Netezza, Teradata, Greenplum, etc

·         Experience with noSQL and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Redis, etc

·         Experience working in a matrixed environment

·         Expertise in delivery processes such as Agile & Waterfall

·         Knowledge of development lifecycle tools such as JIRA, QC, etc

·         Experience with architecture tools such as Visio, Creately, Gliffy, Google Draw, etc.\
