Role: Principal Product System Engineer Electronics

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6+ months contract

Client :  TCS

Rate : $ 45/hr on c2c

Job Description :

Principal Product System Engineer is responsible for the analysis, 

 

recommendation and implementation of specific system requirements into 

 

detailed analog and digital circuit designs for automotive safety applications. This 

 

is a support role that would entail working in a global matrix organization 

 

interfacing with internal customers, suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing, test 

 

engineering and quality. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

· Generating system specifications, 

 

· Trade-off analysis, 

 

· Requirements vs capability analysis, 

 

· DFMEA's, 

 

· Scheduling of critical activities, 

 

· Analysis and resolution of issues with systems under test, 

 

· Close out of open issues and reports. 

 

· Analyses Validation Test Results 

 

· Participate in global team meetings to ensure consistency and technical 

 

issues are identified and resolved. 

 

· Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks effectively and handle various 

 

tasks at the same time 

 

Candidate should have practical experience in HW and SW design for safety 

 

relevant automotive ECUs. Airbag ECU development experience is considered a 

 

Qualifications: 

 

· 5+ years of  experience 

 

· Strong Knowledge of electrical architectures 

 

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as 

 

customer requirements and international specifications 

 

· Capability to ensure design compliance to customer specifications 

 

· Demonstrable experience in working in, and leading team efforts. 

 

· Skills using various CAN software tools 

 

· Electrical and/or systems debugging skills 

 

· Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Self starter and pro-active 

 

· Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving 

 

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Required (BSEE)
