Role: Source Code Management (SCM) Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6+ months contract

Client :  TCS/JPMC

Rate : $54/hr on c2c

Job Description :

• Minimum 4 Years with Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience administering source code management (SCM) tools SVN, GIT including installation, maintenance, repository creation, branching, forking, project creation, integration with different IDE's (Visual Studio, Eclipse, Xcode etc.,)
• More than 5 years of experience with automation, platform and build scripting languages including Ant, Perl etc. Experience working with Build Management and Change Management tools required, experience working with Windows, Mac, Linux or AIX platform navigation, administrative functions, file system maintenance and backup/recovery practices.
• Preferred more than 7 years of complex IT work experience in systems/applications development including a strong understanding of the SDLC process.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate at all levels Execution focused - Results oriented with a "can do" attitude Experienced with structured SDLC and PMLC processes Familiarity with Agile methodology;
• knowledge of Scrum and Unified Process desired Knowledge of current tool set a plus (MS Visio, Excel, and Project) Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
• Working knowledge of Source Code management and industry leading tools Knowledge of Continuous Integration solutions Meeting facilitation, relationship management, critical thinking, technical writing, and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills
