Rate : $47/hr on c2c
The consultant should have minimum 7 years of total IT experience
Job Description :
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role:
7-9 years of Performance testing Experience
· Profiles should be based out of Minneapolis
· Experience in, and strong understanding of, Quality Assurance methodologies and practices
· Excellent logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Must-Have:
Excellent logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
· Expert with one performance testing tool (proprietary) LoadRunner
Good in one performance testing tool (open source) Expert in open source testing tool would be added advantage. Few open source tool
Awareness of other performance related utilities
HTTP Analyzer, Fiddler, Netmon etc.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
Works with Business Analysts and Business Intelligence to identify requirements and data for performance testing and capacity planning.
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products using Load Runner and Performance Center.
Executes performance tests and reports results
Good-to-Have:
Analyzes test cases and test strategy and recommends improvements.
Facilitates troubleshooting and tuning exercises. Proactively engages Application Development, DBA, Network Group, Server Group, etc. to troubleshoot issues.
Tracks and communicates testing efforts – Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as performance degradation, defects, defect counts, test results and test status
