Information Security Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6 months

 

Job Description

·         Reporting to the Manager Information Security, the successful candidate will work as a member of and provide operational support for AA Credit Union Information Security department. This position will emphasize user interaction and requires a reasonable level of technical knowledge. The Information Security Analyst will perform in the following ways:

·         Audit and monitor production system logs for unauthorized transactions and intrusions.

·         Assist in performing security risk assessments and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.

·         Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the company's information security policies, procedures, and guidelines and related documentation.

·         Provide analysis and recommendations for information security configuration to IT Project Managers.

·         Perform administrative functions to complete required tasks including recording issues into tracking system, checking voicemail/email, and documenting processes and issues.

·         Actively promote security awareness programs within the company.

·         On-call work (24x7) is required to respond to critical issues outside of business hours and some limited business travel is required.

·         Provide detailed verbal and written communication to management and peers.

·         Manage multiple projects with competing priorities including leading projects to install new security applications and technologies.

·         Other duties as assigned.

·         Candidate must ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all account information and Credit Union documents, data, and assets. Candidate is responsible for assuring that all work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and must have a good credit rating, which will be verified.

Required Attributes:

·         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills coupled with written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be adaptable, capable and comfortable working on multiple concurrent projects with conflicting priorities in a high-tempo and dynamic environment. Candidate must possess a strong team mentality and willingness to work collaboratively with others. Satisfactory performance and attendance are required.

·         The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of information security experience that includes:

·         A 4 year degree, in Business or an IT Discipline, from an accredited University is strongly preferred.

·         Must be able to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.

·         Industry certification such as; CISSP, MCITP, CISA, MCSE, or GIAC preferred.

·         Understanding of networking and communication techniques including WANs, LANs, Internet, Intranets, and protocols such as TCP, UDP, and IPSEC.

·         Ability to create and analyze system logs and network traffic captures from a security perspective; including anomalous traffic, intrusions, elimination of false positives, and recommendations for event tuning, using appropriate tools.

·         Security experience with networking technologies including, but not limited to routers, switches, and firewalls.

·         Understanding of industry best practices including ISO 17799/13335, NIST, COBIT, SANS, etc.

·         Experience developing, implementing and communicating security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

·         Subject matter expertise (3+ years experience) in at least two technology-related disciplines; intrusion detection, antivirus, data loss protection, access controls, perimeter security, internet filtering, LDAP systems, Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL, etc.

·         Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with a variety of end users possessing a range of technological skills.

 

Archer Admin / Developer

Location: Ft. Worth (Dallas) TX

Duration: 6 months

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Lead efforts as part of the Archer development and support team responsible for design, development, and implementation of new processes, applications, and reporting using RSA Archer solutions.

·         Collect and understand business requirements, and propose solutions that will allow the business groups to attain automated workflows and business processes in Archer.

·         Provide recommendations and subject matter expertise for the development and architecture of the Archer platform.

·         Lead prototyping activities in real-time with functional users to configure the Archer platform to meet business needs.

·         Provide Archer operational support, including troubleshooting issues and data request support.

·         Support prioritization of Archer development activities, including level of effort estimate, identifying dependencies, and maintain schedule of enhancements.

·         Develop custom scripts to process repetitive tasks and increase team productivity.

·         Continue to increase technical skill-set through continuing education

·         Build, maintain and enhance Archer PCI Module for PCI assessment

·         Develop and configure PCI Module within Archer

·         Report on evidence requests, findings, remediation efforts and retesting for PCI Assessment 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred.

·         Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance concepts.

·         RSA Archer Certified Administrator preferred.

·         PCI compliance experience preferred

·         Experience with Archer 5.0 or above as well as VRM experience preferred

·         Minimum of 5 years information systems technology experience.

·         Minimum of 5 years Archer experience including on-demand application development.

·         Minimum 5 years' experience developing and implementing applications.

·         Experience working with computer hardware and software installation / upgrading procedures.

·         Experience working with SQL and XML technologies is highly desirable.

·         Experience in creating fields, reports, iViews's and dashboards.

·         Experience in configuring access control, record permissions, events, and notifications.

·         Experience in data migration planning and content mapping.

·         Experience with the calculated fields (all functions) and Data Driven Events.

·         Strong understanding of CMDB systems and methodologies

·         Ability to work under the direction of management and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines.

·         Self-motivated and able to prioritize and complete tasks based on business requirements

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills essential.

·         Proven ability to perform complex analysis of data to determine trends and develop action plans.

 

Project Manager

Location: Ft. Worth (Dallas) TX

Duration: 6 months

POSITION PURPOSE:

Lead project team(s) through all phases of technology projects, including requirements definition, planning, development, and implementation. Responsible for management and reporting on assigned projects, utilizing standards, methods, and techniques employed by Technologies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manages/oversees all aspects of assigned projects (including definition of project scope/objectives, development of project plan and schedule, budget and resource plan, status reporting, project development, and implementation)

·         Develops and manages project team(s), including allocation of work assignments among team members

·         Negotiates for resources (as required) within the context of the project objectives, requirements, and priorities

·         Interfaces with business owner(s)/customer(s) and all other areas/individuals affected by the project

·         Ensures proper project document requirements and deliverables are clearly defined, maintained and delivered

·         Manages project meetings; completes project tracking/analysis reports; reports to management and business owners regarding project progress, issues, and risks

·         Manages vendors, as needed; tracks/reviews vendor deliverables, approves vendor invoices/timesheets

·         Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team, as needed

·         Manages project budget; reports budget status and acts as liaison with Controller(s), as needed


Specific Skills required with # of years of experience: (IE – Java 4+ yrs experience --- please list at least 3-5 Skills for suppliers to focus on)-

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or Project Management certification or equivalent experience/training

·         At least 5 years project management experience

·         At least 10 years IT experience

·         Experience with IT methodologies (Agile preferred) and project management tools (Rally preferred)

·         Experience with financial justification of projects/products

·         Strong organizational skills for development, management, and coordination of multiple projects/schedules

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly MS Project

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within organization, as well as external vendors

 

Security Engineer

Location: Ft. Worth (Dallas) TX

Duration: 6 months

 

Role Overview

The Platform Engineering team is a highly skilled team of senior engineers that are experts at managing and integrating various third party Security and Networking platforms into the environment. This team, in collaboration with other teams and business stakeholders, is at the forefront of providing the security tools which enhance our security operations center, corporate security, applications and ensure world class set of managed offerings for our customers. Our managed platforms include, but are not limited to, technologies from vendors such as Trend Micro, Symantec, McAfee, Bit9, QRadar, Microsoft, etc.

As the subject matter expert on their technology, the Platform Engineer plays a critical role, and will be accountable for the success of his/her platforms. This will need to be achieved through ongoing planning, coordination and alignment, both internally within the team, and also with partner teams such as Product Management, Software Engineering, Customer Implementation Services and Support Engineering.

Role Responsibilities

·         Maintaining centrally managed consoles and critical infrastructure that enable our SOCs to centrally manage third party security technologies

·         Evaluation of new product lines and features for currently supported products

·         Participate in an on-call rotation for outside business hours escalations, and top tier escalation support for Operations based teams

·         Collaborate with internal teams like Customer Implementation Services, Support Engineering, Software Engineering, IT Operations, Finance and Procurement to ensure efficient service delivery

·         Responsible for production and lab infrastructure specific to platforms under ownership, including planning for cost effectiveness and growth

·         Anticipate operational issues and develop preventative measures

Qualifications

·         Hands-on experience with security tools such as IBM QRadar, Trend Micro OfficeScan, Trend Micro Control Manager, Trend Micro Deep Security Manager, Trend Micro Secure Cloud, Bit9, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, etc

·         3 years working within Information Technology and 1 year specifically in Information Security

·         Strong organization skills and personal framework for consistency, accuracy and repeatable deliverables

·         Strong communication skills - written and verbal, team player for both technical and non-technical audiences

·         Ability to drive key initiatives, with minimal direction with strong interpersonal and client service skills

·         Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration, innovation, creativity and teamwork, analytical capabilities

·         Strong problem solving skills, providing solutions in a systematic and clear manner, easily understood and followed by subordinates and colleagues

·         Must be familiar with security software products and audit tools used in distributed computing environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Internet security, network security technologies, and third party security or audit tools is required. In addition; understanding how to implement application level security controls and mechanisms

·         Must be familiar with Linux and have a minimum of 1 year managing Linux based security products

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Working understanding of Agile software development

·         Working knowledge of networking and security technologies

·         Strong background in host based firewalls, antivirus, syslog, network security management, application layer firewalls, application layer security and architecture

·         TCP/IP protocol suite; advanced subnetting and network address translation

·         Routing protocols and concepts

Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, CISA, GIAC or other security certifications highly desired
