Job Title: Java/J2EE developer

Location: Westlake, Texas

Duration: 6-8 Months Contract (Can be extended further)

NO of positions: 6

Rate 43$ per hour

 

Skills: Java/J2EE, XSL, XSLT, Hibernate, Web Logic, Oracle, and PL/SQL

 

Job Description:

Must have skills:

·         Java/J2EE for senior, "heads-down" development capabilities for complex dev.

·         5-8 years of experience developing enterprise-level Java-based applications.

 

Job Roles/Responsibilities:

·         Full SDLC projects of customized software solutions for clients using industry-leading data analytics tools.

·         Work in Agile environment, using XSL, XSLT, Spring, Hibernate, and a complex Oracle back end

·         Mentoring junior members of the team

·         Assist in design & requirements decisions

·         Design, code, test and debug complex software while developing new functionality, and enhancing existing functionality, in order to satisfy customer requirements, both internal and external.

·         Consult with product owners/business partners to define requirements and software design.

·         Evaluate feasibility and make recommendations, considering things such as customer requirements, time limitations, and system limitations.

·         Explore and research new and alternate technologies and platforms, and evaluate, recommend, and apply these alternate/new technologies, disseminating information throughout the team/department. This includes documenting large and complex assignments for knowledge transfer and developing expertise in multiple areas.

·         Provide technical guidance on a wide range of systems/projects

·         Active participation in collaborative environment, encouraging participation from others

·         Business acumen to determine feasibility of customer requests

·         Translation of business needs into technical requirements

 

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

·         5 to 8 years' experience in full SDLC environments using Java technology stack as well as XSL, XSLT, Hibernate, WebLogic, Oracle, and PL/SQL

·         Strong understanding of Web Services, XSL, SOAP, and HTTP

·         Experience in Agile environment

·         Experience in handling/managing production systems
