Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ
Duration: 6+ months contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with other team members to understand the business challenges and propose the best technical solutions
Help design the best backend data warehouse platform to support the capacity and performance
Participate the POC (proof of concept) implementation
Design and implement data transfer between Hadoop and data Warehouse
Performance tuning
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred.
Strong hands on experience with Columnar DB, Data Warehouse, Mongo or Hadoop
Expert knowledge on Java/JEE/Web development
Find problem solving exhilarating.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Proficiency with AngularJS, jQuery
Experience with Restful API experience with ETL development
Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth.
Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for analytics.
Enjoy working on teams.
Are resourceful, responsible, patient, tenacious, informed, independent, confident, and full of energy.
