BOBJ 4.1 Migration Universe Analyst

The purpose of this position is to assist in the cleanup, migration and testing of SAP Business Migration reports and universes from 3.1 to 4.1. This position will concentrate on universe migration but should have the ability to do Crystal Reports and Webi migrations if necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Performing conversions on SAP Business Objects universes and reports from 3.1 to 4.1.
• Unit testing migrated universes and reports.
• Performing issue resolution on universes and reports during UAT.
Basic/Required:
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 8+ years of experience in IT
• 5+ years of BI development experience
• Previous experience with migrations of BOBJ 3.x to 4.x
• Ability and willingness to travel if needed • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, information technology, or Mathematics
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into successful functional and technical designs
• Demonstrated ability to network and communicate, to show leadership and influence with diverse cultures and business groups.
• 3 + years of direct experience with software/application support and development.
• 5+ years of experience with 3 or more of these Business Intelligence tools: SAP BW, Business Objects XI 3.x or 4.x combined.
• Demonstrated ability of being customer focused and business driven.
• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and manage performance.
• Demonstrated ability of being self-driven.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a team environment.
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
