JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong experience in logical and physical data modeling in OLTP and OLAP environments.
Able to recognize and identify patterns in data relationships from disparate systems.
Strong database fundamentals and data modeling knowledge.
Strong experience performing data modeling studies and develops detailed data models.
Strong experience in transforming logical models to physical models.
Good understanding of understanding of ODS, data warehouse, data mart, and data cube, and database technologies.
Strong SQL (PL/SQL preferred, T-SQL acceptable) background.
Previous experience in gathering requirements for reporting solutions and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good background working with quantitative data.
| RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with IT management to establish and maintain consistent data element definitions across computing environments Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with data modeling and data integration standards. Understand flows between disparate source / target systems, and participate in the development and maintenance of data architecture. Perform a variety of data analysis and modeling tasks with limited supervision. Develop and present training materials as needed to help evangelize the DSISS message. Provide functional advice, training, and advanced data related support to project teams both during the planning and in-flight stages of their projects.
