Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: San Luis, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Primary Skills: Project Engineer, Experience in National Electrical Code (NEC) & CAD tools are necessary

Job Description:
• Follow standards and goals for the engineering department.
• Create and provide reports to management on status of their scope of responsibility.
• Assist in documenting and developing industry best practices, standards and guidelines.
• Manage assigned contracted projects. This can be up 10 projects in multiple stages at any given time. Projects vary in size and complexity.
• Current on safety training and are able to conduct themselves in a safe way while onsite and in the office.
• Review project deliverables and provide engineering guidance on complex projects.
• Support engineering for the Project Management and Construction departments.
• Work with vendors to develop new products, determine reduced cost and improved quality designs. Evaluate industry products for application on contracted projects.
Perform engineering trade studies, or create engineering technical papers or memorandum
• Engineering experience in construction.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills required; MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other engineering software
• Professional appearance and client interaction.
• Motivated team leader, looking to succeed, and empower a group of highly experienced
