Job Description:
Partner with the Enterprise Architect, Development and Shared Services teams, Implementation Engineers and Product Management to develop performance testing plans that model client usage of an Enterprise SAAS solution for health care providers.
Responsible for planning and creating automated performance tests based on current client usage and predicted future usage, executing tests, and analyzing results to measure scalability, stability and reliability.
Responsible for measuring application and environment performance, documenting issues and working with the development and implementation engineers to identify solutions.
Based on current scale and sales projections, develop model to predict future scale for application and system requirements.
Responsible for capturing the requirements of external client interfaces and identifying a method of simulation.
Responsible for capturing the requirements for production environment configuration.
Generate periodic reports showing current product load and performance against predicted load and target performance goals.
Assist in trouble shooting live client issues via issue duplication in the performance test environment and identification of root cause.

Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems.
Responsible for presenting to project teams and business leaders.
Participate in analysis and design walkthroughs, as well as project meetings.
Ensure process improvements are documented and incorporated in the load testing process.
Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and agile processes.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success.
5+ years' experience in Performance Engineering including benchmark testing, performance analysis and measurement of technically challenging systems.
Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills; the ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems.
Knowledge of C#, SQL Server, Java Script and .NET Framework.
Familiarity with various performance tools and the ability to evaluate, select and use the appropriate tools for the problem at hand.
Familiarity with SAAS Solutions and architecture.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to anticipate problems proactively and take appropriate actions to mitigate negative impact.
Experience in creating and implementing performance test methodologies, processes, and associated tools.
Experience driving and providing leadership, with performance engineering within project and development teams.
Assets:
Knowledge of Citrix server farms.
Exposure to iterative and incremental agile software development methodologies.
Healthcare industry experience.

a) How much of actual SQL has he done, can he read stored procedures and understand any issues by looking at the code?
b) Has s/he done any C# development or ASP.NET development, can s/he troubleshoot web services?
