The Sr. Systems Solutions Architect is responsible for designing creative and scalable systems and software solutions that address business/technical needs or challenges on the web. Defines and maintains architecture and technology standards and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases including both in-house development as well as third-party applications.
Provides guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the standards and best practices.
Evaluates and recommends technologies and techniques for applicability to systems.
Maintains expertise as a SME in two or more architecture technical disciplines and defines architectural standards and best practices within those disciplines.
Interacts with Senior management to effect solutions for enterprise business requirements
Guide Architectural focus groups as prime subject-matter expert in area of expertise.
Mentors team members on new technologies in area of expertise
Prepares and maintains documents that include architecture diagrams, data models, and navigation maps in area of expertise
Analyze and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures across the organization as well as design and recommendation on new solutions both in relation to hardware and software design.
Provide direct technical evaluation of third party products for inclusion in solutions.
Help define software development processes
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Understands the business processes on projects assigned
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Translates business requirements into technical requirements and assist other team members in implementing the solution.
Ability to direct the work of other architects in a lead role.
Knowledgeable about Wireless telephony business processes, strategic technologies and industry best practices.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies
Competent in two or more of the following technical disciplines:
Expert Knowledge of Object Oriented Languages & Concepts; Java required
Expert Knowledge of ecommerce platforms; n-Tier required, IBM desired
Expert Knowledge of Middleware and SOA Technologies
Expert Knowledge of Presentation tier technologies: web portal required.
Expert Knowledge of systems Security technology.
Expert Knowledge of Business Process Management technologies
Must have heavy 8+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience
Minimum 8+ years in business environment
Minimum 8+ years as software or systems architect, engineer, programmer

Education:

Minimum 4-year degree in computer science or related discipline.
Technology certifications (such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle) a plus

Installing and configuring the iPaaS development software in the cloud. Cloudhub for MuleSoft

Installing and configuring the iPaaS runtime software in the cloud. Cloudhub for MuleSoft

Providing the software for the minimum runtime to be installed in On Premises. It is required when there is a requirement to integrate with On Premise applications like Databases or through protocols like JMS

Getting/Downloading the OnPremises minimum runtime ( if Cloud hub being used, MuleSoft need only need Anypoint studio workbench for development which has minimum run time else need to setup separate run time)

Installing the OnPremises minimum runtime

Configuring, changing any default settings of the OnPremises minimum runtime

Monitoring the Log files of the OnCloud runtime

Monitoring the Log files of the OnPremises runtime

In case of Failover setup, doing the deployment topology for OnPremises set up Start/Stop the OnPremises Runtime

Disk Size Monitoring where the OnPremises Runtime is running

Doing any performance Tuning like increasing Java Heap Size or updating any configuration values

Updating the regular patch on the OnPremises Runtime

Regularly checking for Notifications for the patches for the Runtime. Liasing with Product vendor for coming out with any solution if any issues for seen for any upgrade

Deployment of code base in various environments

OpenText - Content Server and Stream Serve Developer

Responsible for being the primary technical resource providing support and development expertise on the implementation of the OpenText Content Server and Stream Serve product for document generation and rendering.

This role is responsible for working with the middleware and document design teams to ensure that the required data is available to support document generation as defined by the business.

Responsibilities:

Be the primary technical point-of-contact for OpenText Stream Serve and Content Server
Develop expert level knowledge of Stream Serve & Content Server functionality and architecture/design
Work with technical Middleware team to ensure all attributes for the document template have been accounted for
Work on HTML solutions and have hands on experience in HTML5 Work with the Business/Financial Analysis Team to understand business requirements for new document generation as well as modifications.
Design and develop new payloads and enhance existing data payloads to support document generation and maintain the associated XSD's.
Work with the middleware and document design team in ensuring that data payload requirements are communicated and documented.
Support testing and document verification.
Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with staff on other teams.

Required Skills:

Strong technical software development experience with SOAP and REST Web Services and XML including WSDL, XSD
Prior technical experience with document generation systems - OpenText Content Server and Stream Serve
Previous experience with web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS) and web services
Demonstrated experience to independently learn and become the expert on new technologies and applications
Ability to learn new applications quickly and independently
Experience understanding and contributing to technical specifications
Strong communication skills and proven ability to effective interact with technical and non-technical staff and management
JAVA, C# or other significant software development experience.

Desirable Skills:

Prior technical experience with document generation systems - OpenText Stream Serve and/or Adobe LiveCycle or similar systems
Experience with enterprise high availability systems, disaster recovery
