Job Title : IBM Mainframe COBOL Developers

Location : Columbus OHIO.

Duration : Long term

Clearance : "ADP-I / ADP-II" security Clearance.

Number of positions: 7 ( mid level to seniors needed)

• Develop, test, and support an extensive portfolio of complex vendor and in-house developed financial applications written in COBOL

• Develop COBOL programs for new specifications and/or requirements

• Collaborate with system analyst and end users to understand emerging business opportunities and troubleshoot incidents, resulting in effective IT application solutions

• Provide periodic on-call support for batch processing environments including problem analysis and resolution, for production system monitoring of production MOCs

• Effectively communicate project status with clients and peers in a dynamic and robust IT environment

• Participate in system walk-thrus with team and/or functionals

Qualified personnel would possess

• At least 5 years + of programming experience in a COBOL batch environment

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Computers, or in lieu of a degree in technology 3 years + of program analysis experience

• In-depth knowledge of JCL

• Working knowledge of MANTIS

• Ability to perform debugging technics on system analysis and/or data problems

• Ability to support the entire systems development life cycle

• Experience writing technical design documents, specifications, test and implementation plans.
