The candidate will assist personnel with planning the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 maintenance packs, bundles and fixes to our demo, test and production environments. The candidate working directly with personnel to execute the project as well as knowledge transfer on the best practices with PeopleSoft upgrade tools.

PURPOSE:

Work with IT staff to apply Maintenance Packs 5-9 and all current bundles including Affordable Care Act (ACA) support to development and production environments. In addition, develop a framework for maintaining the HCM 9.1 system with semi-annual review of bundles and fixes. Tax updates are already current.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with DBA/PeopleSoft Admin on technical feasibility of apply multiple maintenance packs and bundles to development and production environments in a limited time window

• Mentor PeopleSoft development group on procedures for managing compare reports and reapplication of appropriate customizations

• Work with IT staff to develop multiple practice test moves to production

• Experience with multiple PeopleSoft upgrades with recent versions, both application and PeopleTools

QA Lead Responsibilities and Task Assignments:

The QA lead is responsible for coordinating all phases of testing: system integration testing, system testing, and end to end testing. The QA Lead will need to:

Understand data conversion requirements for each system and recommending a testing strategy to ensure successful conversion of the data
Understand the testing that is being performed by each impacted or in-scope application
Partner with the in-scope applications to identify appropriate end-to-end tests across applications
Coordinate application test execution (system and integration) of the impacted, in-scope applications to ensure readiness to enter end-to-end test phase
Drive end-to-end testing to successful completion
Manage end-to-end testing defects
Report testing and defect status

Coordinate with application teams to Identify test environment needs for end-to-end testing
Conduct Defect Triage meetings as appropriate.
Coordinate other types of testing (SOA testing, data validation), where necessary.
Develop, track, analyze, and communicate test-related metrics to project stakeholders.
Keep Management, Project Managers and stakeholders informed of current state of quality and test progress against pilot / production readiness criteria.

Position/Project Specific Requirements:

· 5+ years of QA Lead experience

· 2+ years' experience with data conversions

· Very strong background in Integration and End-to-End testing
