In the past you have participated in a World's Religion Study or in Faith Club. We wanted to make you aware of this upcoming interfaith opportunity in our neighborhood. No need to RSVP, just come to the orientation, Iftar 101, on Sunday, August 12.

ST. LUKE'S INVITED TO IFTAR, BREAKING OF THE FAST, AT JAMA MASJID August 13:Our friends at the Jama Masjid have once again invited St. Luke's to join in the spiritual discipline of fasting during Ramadan and then breaking the fast with our Muslim friends at the Jama Masjid on Monday, August 13 after sundown. The Iftar is the breaking of the fast that starts by eating a date and is followed by Sunset Prayer and Breaking of Bread (feast).

 

To prepare for this experience you are invited to attend "Iftar 101" on Sunday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Attic.

 

 

The Iftar and Prayer Service will be held at the Jama Masjid located at 11543 Ruby Lake Rd. (less than 10 minutes from St. Luke's).
