Job Title: Lead .NET Developer Architect

Location : Austin, TX

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Visa Status: US Citizens / GC'S only.

Required Skills:

This position is responsible for working interdependently with a team of developers to develop and implement business applications supporting initiatives within the Company.

This includes working with team lead to create and or utilize technical specifications to provide enhancements and new development to an existing suite of applications, while adhering to standards and guidelines within Company.  The candidate should have a solid understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles, a solid understanding of .NET, experience designing and developing end-to-end enterprise software solutions, and working with team members to ensure a high quality end product.

The candidates need to be strong senior developers with architect experience

Minimum 10 years experience coding in .NET with emphasis on C# as a programming language, ASP .Net, ADO.Net and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.

Strong hands-on object oriented and domain design and development experience using C# in an architecture role is preferred.

Provides technical consulting on complex strategic initiatives in one or more phases of application development. 

Establish and ensure compliance with technical architecture standards, processes, principles, and methodologies.

Experience in research and development of new technologies is preferred.

Desire and commitment to work on projects that extends up to 3 - 4 years.

Experience in the Agile methodology is preferred but not required.

Must excel at working with peers within a team environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience. Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience with large-scale enterprise applications deployed using .NET.

Commitment to continuing professional development and domain expertise.

Experience in the Motor Vehicle Industry preferred.
