Please note: The Manager is looking for candidate with major experience in Data Architecture and Data Design.
Need a Database Administrator who does have some level of experience in Database architecture.
They do not need to be an expert-level architect, but they need to have some experience there.
This position #1 priority and try to find candidates who fit all the qualifications listed on the job description along with architecture experience.

Description
Key tasks for Application DBA (Oracle Databases)
- Design, configuration, implementation and administration of database server, storage and network configurations for data warehouse and/or OLTP.
- Design and execution of Data extract, transform and load techniques and technologies .
- Develop, maintain Database packages, stored procedures, triggers and other programmatic interfaces.
- Assume ownership of database related issues, leading problem analysis and resolution efforts.
- Develops and demonstrates knowledge of and understanding of cross system linkages and enterprise data views.
- Self-driven to constantly improve database reliability, availability and performance, working with cross functional teams.
- Application DBA role responsible for design-deployment and change management, ensuring database solutions delivered meet production standards.
- Develops logical and physical data models for medium to complex applications.

Skills, abilities and certificates
- Relational Database technologies – 5-7 years
- Strong OLTP experience/large web systems – 5 years
- Oracle 10g /Oracle 11g + Unix/Linux – 5 years
- SQL+PL/SQL+Shell, - 4 years, Java, PHP and other interfaces additional skills preferable.
- RAC/GoldenGate/DataGaurd – 2 years
- Oracle TDE/RSA – 2 years
- Datastage/Informatica/Pentaho- one or more ETL tools experience preferable
- Hadoop, Aster, Greenplum, cloudera technologies - one or more Big Data experience preferable
**** MUST HAVE Experience in Data Architecture and Data Design.
