Thanks so much for your interest in seeking a world free of hunger,
poverty, exploitation, war and environmental destruction. While many of
us are busy working for peace with Syria and addressing the many other
crisis please take the time to consider organizing a Food Not Bombs
presentation at your school. Our presentation is hopeful and inspiring.
Students and activists are already showing interest and the schedule of
the Smashing Hunger, Squashing Poverty tour is beginning to fill up. I
would be honored to give a presentation for your classmates and
community to help inspire them to take action.
I would be able to present workshops on a few topics.
1. The consensus process for effective organizing and more productive
meetings.
2. The economics and politics of hunger and poverty and strategies for
organizing.
3. Nonviolent direct action preparation.
4. Strategies and techniques of community organizing.
5. Providing and preparing meals and groceries for hundreds of people.
I would also be able to table during the day and have lots of
information on many current subjects. I would love to set a date for the
event and start working on the promotion and funding.
Thanks
Keith McHenry
