I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Developer, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Developer 3 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the DPS. DPS may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. DPS will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
This position provides development programming and sustaining support for the Java-based Driver License application; data is contained in a DB2 database. Worker will contribute to scheduled software releases and production maintenance of the application. Previous experience with the Driver License application is a plus.

III. TERM OF SERVICE
Services expect to start as soon as possible and are expected to be completed by June 30, 2014. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 2000 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
