Job Title: Oracle Apps Technical consultant

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Marlborough. MA

Exempt/Non-exempt:    Exempt

 SUMMARY:

The Oracle Systems Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support of Oracle E-Business Suite applications (Oracle Financials, Property Manager, Inventory, Projects, Purchasing/Procurement, etc.) in the global Oracle environment. Utilizing an in-depth knowledge of Oracle applications, the incumbent will troubleshoot, determine the root cause, and effectively resolve production problems. Excellent customer service and communication skills are critical for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills as well as in-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications in the global environment is a must
• Very strong organizational skills and proper attention to details
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service working in the global multi-cultural environment
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Availability for 24X7 support for Severity 1 Production issues
• Self-directed, able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand business concepts and evaluate the impact of business changes on systems
• Ability to learn new applications (Oracle and non-Oracle)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Visio
• Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies
