Description: Sharepoint Technical Architect The SharePoint Technical Architect position includes the following: • Architect an enterprise document solution across all divisions of the organization leveraging SharePoint 2013 and K2 blackpearl. • Work with other CGI members and client staff to analyze, design, and document enterprise requirements for the solution to apply across all divisions including document taxonomies, metadata, retention/destruction, usage patterns, etc. • Provide SharePoint 2013 architectural and technical product expertise to apply the solution leveraging best practice approaches towards satisfying the enterprise and divisional requirements of the solution. • Mentor more junior SharePoint developers, review their technical deliverables, and provide technical leadership across multiple teams. • Install and set-up the SharePoint 2013 environments. • Work with multiple project teams to create a consistent usage of the SharePoint environment. • Create technical system designs for a SharePoint and K2 blackpearl-based enterprise document management solution. Technical designs should follow project standards and articulate the solution to develop/configure on an appropriate level. Resolve comments resulting from the technical design reviews. • Develop and/or configure assigned components to the solution, if needed. • Create unit test cases to appropriately verify created code, execute those scripts, and resolve identified issues, if needed. • Assigned system incidents and defects identified during the testing process should be fixed, unit tested, and checked in. • Debug and troubleshoot issues in the solution, if needed. • Provide production support of the solution, as needed. The Document Management solution will be rolled out to all divisions of the agency and will include store, search, retrieve, workflow, records management surrounding paper-based documents and processes. The primary solution will be based on SharePoint 2013 leveraging the K2 blackpearl solution for workflow. The solution base will be shared with the CIS Replacement solution. ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED Significant experience with SharePoint-based document management solutions (required) Experience with ASP.NET programming (required) Experience with K2 blackpearl workflow engine (preferred) HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES Microsoft SharePoint 2013 ASP.NET K2 blackpearl
