Location: Columbus, OH

Job Description:
The Informatica System Administrator is responsible for the monitoring and administration of the Informatica suite of products, including PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality. This role will be responsible for the installation and upgrade of Informatica software in addition to the deployment of code to test and production environments. This role is expected to provide on-call support for the Informatica production environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Administers Informatica environment, including PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality software
• Writes and maintains UNIX shell scripts for administering the Informatica environment
• Applies patches and upgrades for Informatica software
• Monitors performance and troubleshoots data integration processes
• Provides on-call support for the Informatica environment, including working with Infomatica vendor on resolving production issues
• Promotes and deploys Informatica code
• Assists in capacity planning for Informatica runtime environment
• Works with other team members to develop standards and best practices for the development and deployment of data integrations
Required Skills
• Minimum 5 years admin experience with Informatica products in operational support role. Experience with version 9.x is required.
• Hands on experience in using PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Proactive Monitoring, Repository Manager
• Experience in Informatica software installation, configuration, tuning and administration
• Experience in Informatica upgrades
• Experience implementing and migrating applications in an Informatica environment
• Knowledge and working experience in Windows OS and Unix/Linux OS environments
• Knowledge and working experience in Oracle and MSSQL databases
• Excellence in oral/written communications
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing with regards to Informatica software
• Familiarity with script automation tools like Rundeck is preferred
• Familiarity with ActiveBatch job scheduler is preferred
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration is preferred
