Mandatory Skills:
• We are looking for a strong Microstrategy candidate with product analyst experience or ready to work in a product analyst role.
Good understanding of Microstrategy schema/ reports/dashboard development, configuration, deployment, upgrade, administration
• Hands-on development of dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs, scorecards, and statistical reporting utilizing MicroStrategy Release 9+ version software
• Proficient in MicroStrategy architecture, dashboard, and report development including objects, filters, prompts and metrics
• Proficiency with databases
• Gather and transform business requirements into innovative BI solutions that effectively support business users
• Document designs, specifications, and flow diagrams to assist in efficient development, support, and problem analysis
• Create and enhance report objects, metrics, filters, and prompts
• Develop dashboards and reports per specified requirements and timelines
• Participate in data model design and data build for the enterprise datawarehouse
• Develop, execute, and document test plans for development activities
• Validate reporting results against requirements, and troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports
• Develop a strong understanding of the source systems that pass data to the reporting systems, and the relationships within the data
• Support and manage special projects, ad-hoc management reporting requests, testing, and issue resolution
• Ensure optimal end-user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans
• Experience in development and integration including setting up configuration management, developing components, peer review, creating unit test plans, and performing unit testing
• Hands-on report development, dashboard creation, freeform SQL reports/metric/attribute/custom group/consolidation, and cubes creation
• Experience with intelligent cube development, custom widget, visualization development and implementation
• Hands on experience with project creation, schema objects creation, development of queries, documents and dashboards with flex based widgets
• Understanding of relational databases, strong SQL skills, and experience with data modeling and architecture"
