AWS Application Architect
Location : 2- Seattle and 2- Denver
Duration : 12 weeks,possibility of extension
- Identify technical risks related to migration plan, come up with mitigation plan e.g. potential performance issues, potential availability issues, external dependencies etc.
- Experience with modernization approaches including re-hosting, re-factoring, re-architecting, migrations and conversions
- Identify application dependencies -Support manual discovery efforts ensuring appropriate information is collected.
- Highly technical and analytical, possessing 5-7 years of implementation/consulting experience
- Experience with defining application patterns and using profiling tools to quickly understand performance and dependency characteristics.
- Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments is a plus
- Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, Linux ,IBM, Oracle, HP, etc.
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, aviation industry etc.)
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required
- Experience in designing, planning and executing business critical, complex applications migration to new datacenters or Cloud
- Analyze legacy applications' source code for architectural patterns and SDLC related issues
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively across multiple team
- Present status/issues/updates to key stakeholders.
