Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job description:
The person needs to be able to have an end-to-end vision, and to see how a logical design will translate into one or more physical Databases, and how the Data will flow through the successive Stages involved. He (or she) will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration(Validation, Clean-up and Mapping) and needs to be a proven Data Migration strategist. Should be proficient in Pentaho ( and an ETL tool) and good in
1. Data Analysis
2. Data Modelling
3. Data Integration
4. Data Warehousing
5. Database Design
The Additional responsibilities include
1. Provides formative and summative data useful in evaluating and improving programs;
2. Serves point of contact for data related issues and questions, such as ensuring integrity of data, verifying information regarding data quality, completeness of data,adherence to set data schemas; identifying and correcting data integrity issues that do not comply with schemas.
