DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support and leading the team on several integration projects. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in HL7 and also have in depth knowledge in Cloverleaf. The HL7 Analyst collaborates closely with end users, management, other IT staff, consultants and vendors to ensure maximal benefits/optimization are obtained.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops operational needs assessments to identify opportunities for improving systems-related workflow and procedures; develops cost-benefit analyses; documents recommendations and implements changes
• Acts as Lead in maintenance, operational troubleshooting and coordinating repair of systems and applications to ensure maximal operational effectiveness.
• Leads end users with utilization of critical components of installed systems as required (e.g., quality control/reporting, managing master file and data base maintenance), including installation and testing of software upgrades
• Develops specialized reporting and analysis
• Develops training materials and conducts training
• Monitors utilization of systems and applications and makes recommendations for modifying configurations to accommodate changing end user and regulatory requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 7 to 10 years' experience in applications analysis, implementing and/or supporting clinical in a hospital setting
• HL7 Subject Matter Expert
• Cloverleaf experience required
