{PBJFlorida} Addresses and text of letter to Gov. Scott. Let's wake him up!

 

Florida was in the New York Times twice this week. Once in an article whose head line read "The Rush to Abandon the Poor" and the second on "Florida's Gun Law Morass" which includes "Stand Your Ground."

Governor Scott,

I ask you to have mercy on the poor of Florida who will suffer even more than they do now if you continue to refuse Federal funds. The Medicaid money offered to Florida will cost you nothing but will save lives and improve the health and lives of a million poor men, women and children of Florida.

In conscience, accept the money and help the poor.
