Title: DataWarehouse Architect

Duration: 6+ Months CTC , F2F Required

Location: Deerfield, IL or North Brook, IL

 

Description of Services: 

Data Warehouse Architect will back fill the open Astellas Data Warehouse Architect position until a new staff is hired.  Focus is on Technical Architecture and Data Architecture.

 

Deliverables:

Develop Roadmaps for key technologies, including DataStage, Netezza, Cognos, Qlikview, and Oracle.

Coordinate activities for several in-flight operational activities, including DataStage server migration and Oracle upgrade.

Collect and format data from various sources as input into monthly and quarterly reporting.

Support analysis of application portfolio as input into Project Orion transition.

 

Skill Set:   Experience with DataStage, Oracle DB, Netezza or Teradata, Reporting tools including Cognos and Qlikview.   Minimum 5 years in Data Warehouse Architecture roles.   Knowledge of Best Practices in Data Warehousing.
