Subject: Farmworker Association General Assembly - Save the Date

2013 is the 30th Anniversary of the forming of the Farmworker Association of Florida

We will be honoring the year with events, celebrations, and, of course, the hard work that we are committed to each and every day.  Right now, we are co-leading the Forward with Your Promise Caravan to Washington, DC.  You can follow it on our Facebook page or on the web site at www.forwardwithyourpromise.com

Attached is a Save the Date flyer about our upcoming General Assembly - a statewide event that will be help in Apopka, FL and that is a pivotal moment for the organization.  We invite you to join us and to follow our events and activities throughout this significant year.

Thanks for your support and for all your good work for farmworkers and for justice.

In Solidarity,

"All my life, I have been driven by one dream, one goal, one vision: To overthrow a farm labor system in this nation which treats farm workers as if they were not important human beings." - Cesar Chavez

"Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals."
---Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
