{PBJFlorida} We want to flood the governor with pleas for justice!

Thanks to the editorial board of the *Sentinel for bringing to light the flaws of the death penalty system in Florida. This editorial (02/06) details flaws and notes that the American Bar Association, in 2006, studied Florida's record and procedures and found that the state has "glaring flaws that mock justice." Those flaws still exist and all executions must halt while the flaws are studied and remedied.

I write for these human rights groups: *Amnesty International #519* , *Peacebuilders with Justice*, *Floridians Against the Death Penalty*, and

*Remembering Joe Durocher.

We* have joined forces to halt the death penalty

until it has been studied, fixed and justice is assured.

In view of the *Sentinel's* confirmation of flaws in Florida's system, we invite Florida citizens to call the governor at (850)488-4441. Only the Governor

can halt executions.
