• Unix Infrastructure - Platform and Data Center server migrations
• Virtualization Skills - Solaris Zones/Ldoms, Server Virtualization
• Scripting - Server automation via Shell or awk for daily tasks
• Operating Systems - Sun Solaris 8,9,10, RHEL 5.x/6.x
• Experience on Satellite server, Jumpstart/Kickstart and VMware (optional)
• Unix Tools - Veritas Cluster server, Veritas Volume Manager, NFS, LVM, Solaris networking (IPMP/NFS)
• Oracle Enterprise - M4000/M5000, M9000, T-series, High End Servers
• File Systems - Good understanding and troubleshooting skills on ZFS and Veritas File System
• DR Strategy, Architecture, Design and sizing of platforms
• Clustering Solutions - Veritas Cluster with Solaris Zones
• Live upgrade and Patching/Upgrade exposure
· Planning and implementation of various system projects and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner as desired
· Process change requests and participate in change management meetings
· Co-ordination with Core Storage/Network/Application team for successful migration
