Job Description:
Essential Job Functions
Ø Minimum of 8-10 years of proven Enterprise wide IT technical Lead and software deployment experience in the financial services industry. Preferably with PIN Management experience
Ø Experience in product/solution development, deployment for banking, payment, and/or financial applications.
Ø Domain knowledge in the Retail Banking area(desirable)
Ø Proven record interpreting and fulfilling requirements by developing high performing, scalable and maintainable solutions with multiple technologies and vendors.
Ø Extensive software integration & deployment experience of both internal and vendor products using up-to-date technologies like Web Services and Enterprise Service Bus
Ø Ability to engage and articulates across all levels of the Bank, including business goals and connecting them to technology capabilities to be delivered
Ø Demonstrated ability to engage with 3rd party vendors and select and integrate major vendor software
Ø Ability to think on your feet, present multiple solution options, and drive reliable technical solutions
Ø Good understanding of security technologies/solution with experience in PIN management (Debit & Credit card), Key management (RSA/PKI, SSL), authentication and authorization technologies.
Ø Ability to lead / manage the end-to-end delivery of a project portfolio supporting business goals and strategy
Ø Experience with Data base technologies.
Ø Provides technical expertise in
o Examination and definition of objectives for existing or proposed systems.
o To staff including interpretation of specifications.
Ø Develops and documents project plans and schedules in conjunction with Business Systems Analyst and/or Technical Project Managers.
Ø Understanding/Skills in technologies like Java, Java EE, Websphere Application Server, Websphere MQ, Oracle, XML, XSLT, SOAP, JSON, and RESTful services.
Ø Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices including Rational Unified Process, deployment automation, code reviews, and test driven development.
Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of industry experience.
Key skills are listed below.
· Must Have skills:
o Good Development Skills in Java, Websphere Application Server, Websphere MQ.
o Integration experience with XML, XLST, SOAP and RESTful services.
o Database development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
· Good to have skills:
o Extensive software integration & deployment experience of both internal and vendor products using up-to-date technologies like Web Services and Enterprise Service Bus
o Good understanding of security technologies/solution with experience in PIN management (Debit & Credit card), Key management (RSA/PKI, SSL), authentication and authorization technologies.
o Have supported Production systems in the past
· Nice to have skills:
o Experience with PIN Management systems
o Experience in product/solution development, deployment for banking, payment, and/or financial applications.
o Domain knowledge in the Retail Banking area(desirable)
o Demonstrated ability to engage with 3rd party vendors and select and integrate major vendor software
