 Must Have:

ü  5+ Years of experience administering linux/Unix(RedHat, Ubuntu, Solaris) systems.

ü  5+ years of MS administration experience, with a focus on IIs, app pool, .net configuration and monitoring/instrumentation.

ü  Experience with Web Servers Technologies including IIS, NGINX and Apache(with emphasis on NGINX).

ü  Experience with Database Systems including MSSQL, MySQL

ü  Experience with No-SQL Databases including MongoDB

ü  Experience administering PHP and .NET Applications

ü  Experience with Caching Technologies

ü  Experience with Systems Automation technologies(with emphasis on Puppet).

ü  Experience with Reverse Proxy technologies including nginx

ü  Experience with supporting a 24x7 Web Technologies stack

ü  Experience with enterprise monitoring/alerting (Gomez/New Relix/Nagios).

 

Major Responsibilities:

ü  Support and deploy complex in-house and 3rd party applications, product code & content.

ü  Coordinate with other IT resources (DBA's, Developers, QA, Customer Support, Architect) in supporting all environments.

ü  Apply in-depth technical analysis of application issues to solve customer reported problems.

ü  Monitor, identify and resolve performance related issues in a 24/7/365 environment.

ü  Assist in documenting, identifying opportunities for improvement and stabilizing critical applications.

ü  Provide off-hours support via pager on rotation schedule.
