Job Title: Tableau Consultant

Location: Washington, DC

 

Job Description:

·         Experienced in Tableau server implementation, including setting up core based licenses in a distributed environment.

·         Experienced in Tableau server set up in VM environment.

·         Experience in providing Tableau desktop training, creation of complex visualizations, dashboards and reports.

·         Good experience in rapid systems development and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

·         Experience in implementing Business Intelligence strategy, including information architecture.

·         Good knowledge of data manipulation, analysis and preparation of data intensive dashboards.

·         Analysis of requirements

·         Review high level requirements for usage of Tableau at IFC, including various use cases such as standalone power users

·         Review requirements for initial dashboard project

Dashboard design

·         Devise a dashboard solution that addresses the requirements gathered in 2 above

·         Review source data structures and suggest methods to optimize performance

·         Document the design and review with EA team

Dashboard development

·         Develop initial dashboard in Tableau

·         Conduct unit testing of the code

·         Document the details of developed solution

·         Review final version of the code with EA team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science graduates with 4-7 years of experience
