Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Job Description:
WAS – Sybase
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Supporting production environments at application database layer as level 2 support for banking applications
· Resolve day-to-day support issues/incidents raised by business users, ensuring effective and timely resolution
· Providing support to business users for their requests and queries related to the application databases that are in the support scope
· Actively participate in incident and problem management tasks and follow-up with the stakeholders till closure
· Ensure the availability of the application database as per the business requirement and raise all capacity related issues to the concerned stakeholders and bringing to closure
· Actively participate in change, release and deployment process areas with respect to various applications
· Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
